My only shutdown option is to press my power button which brings up the shutdown options box.Many windows once open don't appear to have a minimise or close option. The app bar on the left has missing icons even the the name is there and the app can be run by clicking the blank space.The system button, that I believe should be on the top right next to my user name, is not accessible. Now, however, on Fedora 23, when I login to GDM on tty0, a new Xorg/GNOME session spawns on tty1, and the terminal switches there. After logging in to the windows manager, the desktop manager *replaced* GDM on tty0, and your session continued from there.
